Hey Shannon! I started your 5 weeks to fit workouts and had a question about your supplements. You mentioned in some comments that you take a pre-workout then then a mixture of Dymatize and Quest after lifting before cardio and also BCAA’s. I was wondering when you take the BCAA’s?
I like to drink a post workout shake after active cardio, if you need the pre workout drink (which I don’t drink a protein shake for pre-workout) that is up to you.
I workout Monday through friday. What days should i leg lift weights? I ask because some people say: for example: “mondays and thursdays” because you have to wait 72 hours for those muscles to recover. Im doing it monday, wendsdays and fridays. Fridays i do legs exercises without weights. Ex. Lungers, legs lateral raise… etc. Please guide me. Thank you
Hi.. So I would not do legs 3 days a week, you need to leg your muscles recover and by doing them that often you are going to over train and not see the results you want. I would do them max 2 days a week and wait the few day in between until you train them again.

Christa! Hey, so I drink my BCAA’s throughout my workout. They keep me hydrated and taste great.

Is it necessary to drink a pre and/or post protein shake for the rest (active cardio) days? or just one or the other?
