Brooke! Hi, yes the intervals are hard/easy, or walk/sprint. So one minute hard or sprint, one minute easy or walk. Great question and hope that clarifies it for you?
Hey! I just finished day 1 and it was awesome. Thanks so much for sharing your workouts. It’s so hard to find something that’s pretty specific on what to do any given day. I had a question though. Is it ok to use the machine version to do the exercises (chest fly machine instead of dumbbells for instance)? Thank you!
Hi Carissa! YES, absolutely! You can always use the machines to replace dumbbells or vice versa. Make it work for you and what you have access to!! Have a great weekend and thanks for following along!
Made it through day numero #1, BACK! I’m feeling it tonight. Started working with a trainer in spring of 2014 and had amazing results however, the budget doesn’t always alow for personal training. Time for a tune up and was excited to see the “6 wk Summer Time SLIMDOWN appear in my feed. Also training for a half marathon (4/30/16) n wanted to keep my muscle building on track. I totally enjoy the videos that are posted. Thank you once again! ????????
I am new to weight lifting (i’ve just been doing step aerobics/cx worx classes, etc at the YMCA. I’m really hoping to build some muscle, but I’m not able to do full pushups yet. Any alternate suggestion for those? And thanks so much for the videos and daily schedule! I started today and i’m excited to continue!
That is great you do all the classes and are now adding in weight training. The pushups will come, but for now you can get in the pushup position, but with your knees on the ground and do the pushup that way, rather than pushing up your entire body it will be more just your upper body and easier for you to do! Its a great starting point.
Not sure how long each specific exercise takes, but I am at thy gym for about an hour and a half. You can always do 30 min of cardio or give yourself less rest between sets to get them done at a quicker rate.

Hello! I was wondering what the interval cardio is. Is it like 1 hard 1 easy. Or 3 min hard 3 easy? Or just make it up? Thanks!

For the 1-arm push ups with the ball, do we do 4 sets of 15 per arm? Or just 4 sets total (2 sets per arm)?

Quick question: Do you do this as a circuit or do you do the 4 sets of each exercise in a row with a small break in between?

I do all 4 sets of each exercise and then move onto the next exercise with about a minute rest between exercises.

how long does all exercise takes. It takes me too long and then I have to do 45 min cardio
