I am so glad I found your site. I am doing the 5 week challenge and on day 12! Love it so far. I have worked out for many years and totally enjoy it. My problem is always the belly. You don’t work that out to much. I know it is diet. I try to eat clean, I try to stay at 1200 calories a day. I’m trying to loose some weight and also build some muscle. I feel like I’m doing something wrong. Any advice on working out the belly more and what foods to be eating more/less of. Any advice you could share would be so appreciated. Thank you so much.
So I do a lot of reverse crunches and ab twists with a weight. I recommend lean sources of protein and the right type of carbohydrates. Try to stay away from high amounts of sugary foods/drinks, drink a lot of water and make sure to do your cardio. And your right, a lot of what you eat has to do with your abs, but also getting good sources of protein and taking supplements will help too. I do abs pretty much everyday and when I run or do my cardio I make sure to really contract my abs for some good isometrics. Planks are another really good source of ab workout too.
