S’mores Krispy Treats are the perfect mix of our favorite summertime snack without the need of a campfire. Loaded with marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers in all the right places.
No rice krispies in these Krispy treats.. “say what?” They have been taken over by the graham cracker to make these the easiest non-campfire s’mores treat ever. It’s Sunday and its time for a little indulgilicous. Literally there is 4 ingredients and no cooking involved, yes NO cooking. Although campfires go hand in hand with singing “kumbaya” and roasting marshmallows to mush between two graham crackers and a piece of hershey’s chocolate, these S’mores Krispy Treats give you all the taste of the outdoors without the campfire smoke.
Really they give you simplicity, and a quick and delicious treat for all ages. Summer is slowly coming to an end (NO!) and I can’t remember a Summer of NOT having some type of S’mores treat, but to merge them into a rice krispy treat is genius. Well, maybe I am a little bias, I don’t have kids so being able to make something up in less than 20 minutes for my niece and nephews is a blessing in itself, and they loved them. I chose to use the reduced fat graham crackers, but use what you have and enjoy these amazing ooey gooey treats as the chocolate is freshly poured. It really reminds me of a S’more as the chocolate is melting from the hot roasted marshmallows.
If you are looking for delicious, on a time crunch treat, then try making these campfire free S’mores Krispy Treats and bring the campfire feeling indoors. xoxo
