Welcome to Day 8 of 28 Days 2 Shred! I hope you all got your Active Rest Days in and were successful at getting 60 minutes of cardio and your ab workouts done. Rest from weights is essential to let
Love all your workouts. Finished the 5 weeks just before this one started. It was the first one I completely finished. I was a week shy of the 10 week. Just to clarify on the twists it’s a full twist left to right that counts as 1? I don’t ever feel a burn on them and wonder if I’m doing them wrong. Thanks for the help. Keep the workouts coming they are awesome!
Vonnie! Yes, on the twist count, are you making sure to just twist at the waist and not move your hips? Also if you can’t feel anything standing try them sitting with a ball side to side, that may help you engage your obliques more and feel ” the Burn!” 🙂 Shannon.
You can do bent over dumbbell rows. Stand and bend at the waist with a straight back and hold the dumbbells at your side and then bring them up toward your armpits bending your elbows and keeping your arms close to your body, making sure to squeeze you back muscles and you bring the weights up.
Hi Shannon! On your day 5 post you said the next 2 active rest days are 80 mins of cardio + twists. But on this page you mention rest days should have been 60. Can you please clarify? I’d hate to do an extra 20 mins if its not crucial to the plan! Haha!

Shannon.
How long is the rest period between sets?
Taylor,
I try to keep it to 60 seconds. If you need a little longer than that is ok, but it is really trying to keep you moving and fatigue those muscles.
Shannon 🙂
What can I do instead of the low hammer row?
Jackie,
