We don’t all have hours to spend at the gym, but want to make the time we do have worth while. And sometimes we only have time to work one body part, so I wanted to post some quick and simple exercises we can all do when short on time and energy for that matter. Today I am focusing on our Chest muscles and the only machine we need to use it the smith machine. If you are not familiar with the smith machine it is a bar attached to two rails that allows you to put weight on either side and move vertically. You don’t lift the bar off the rails. You can also ask a gym staff member to point you in the right direction. I am going to show you how to work the lower, middle, and upper part of your chest with 5 simple exercises. Each time you move from one exercise to the next make sure to raise the smith machine up one notch. The 5 exercises will consists of 3 sets of 10 reps, so you will go through all the exercises once, doing 10 reps each equaling one set. You will do this 3 times, with about a 60 second rest between each set. I provided examples below and a short video to help you through this quick, but effective workout!
