Is getting on the treadmill the last thing you want to do? Same old thing, walking or running or a combination of both with nothing good on the T.V. and your music just isn’t getting you motivated. Well today I want to take you through 5 way to make your treadmill workout less boring. We all need a little change in our workouts to keep us motivated and excited and these 5 exercises are going to help you stay engaged in your workout and challenge your cardio all while incorporating them into your daily treadmill routine. The workout is made up of 5 different types of lunges that involve working our quads, glutes, hamstrings, and oblique muscles. You will do each exercise for 1 minute, for a total of 5 minutes, then you can either walk or run for 5 minutes and go through the set again. Do that same thing until you have gone through 3 sets. Try and challenge yourself when doing the exercises and increase your treadmill incline and speed to what you are comfortable with. I left my incline at 15, but increased or decreased my speed depending on what exercise I was doing to push myself. It’s time to have fun again on our treadmills.
