When you say heavy….. is it for example if i did my 1 set of 15 with a 10LB the other 3 sets of 10 I will do with a 15lb????? I started to do the 6 weeks program like you recommended. Very challenging for me specially on push ups i really suck at it and my arms are not strong enough. I ordered my proteins and other supplements, change my diet not to a crazy one since im adapting im going slow . Dont want to think so much of the results cause im a very anxiuous person. I will try and email you a before and after when I see actual change. lol
Edna!!! Hi, I am thrilled you have started the program and changed your diet to what is working for you! Yes, when I say heavy, try and add weight as you decrease the amount of reps your do. SO if you start at 10lb for 12 reps, go directly into 8 reps and try to do 15lbs, then do 6 reps and try to do 20lbs if 20 is too heavy do what you can. Keep me updated on how it is going!! Shannon I’m loving this program. Thanks for posting. When you drink your protein shake after workout, are you drinking it after weights before cardio OR after the entire workout is complete? Thanks!
I like to drink my protein shake right after I have done weights, before my cardio. I know some people have a hard time doing that so you can absolutely drink it after you have completed your entire workout too, do what is best for you.
