The gym I use doesn’t have a laying leg curl machine. What would you suggest as an alternative excerise? I’m getting ready to start your 8 week program and want to be prepared.
Sara, Hi, you can do straight leg dead lifts with either a barbell or use dumbbells that will be a good alternative. You can also do squats using dumbbells in both hand, with your feet slightly apart, making sure you sit back on your heels as you lower your body and push through your heels on you way back up squeezing those hamstrings and glutes. I hope this all makes sense!?!
I like to drink either the muscle milk light from costco that are already pre-made, or I make my own with water and ISO pure 100 protein by Dymatize. What is important is that you get a good protein into your body after lifting that does not have a lot of sugar.
How long do you rest in between sets?
Eva! Hi, I generally rest between 30-60 seconds, but if you need more time that is ok and if less time works for you, that is ok too!!

What protein shakes do you drink post workout?
