Hey everyone it’s Shannon!  I wanted to share some of my favorite bicep exercises that I love to do to help firm, tone and build my biceps.  We all love nice toned arms and our biceps help balance our arms out.  When doing these exercises really try and push yourself.  Pick up a weight that is going to challenge you, meaning your biceps are struggling to get out the last few reps.  Don’t just pick a weight that you can stand there all day and curl, but be smart so you don’t cause any injuries.  If you want to tone your biceps you are going to have to put some weight into it.  So don’t be afraid, if you use a heavy weight and you can’t get out all the reps, that’s ok.  Be strong, be confident, and be powerful.  We can’t tone up if we don’t challenge what we can do.  Everyday at the gym I try and challenge myself by lifting just a little bit heavier than the time before.  This may not be the case for everyone, so be proud of what you do, keep a journal of your lifting and set goals to obtain in a time frame that works for you.  We can all be strong, toned, and fabulous if we put our minds to it.
